Cancellation Policy For Pet Sitter Services

At Bark & Purr Pet Sitting, LLC we understand that there may be circumstances beyond your control that cause you to cancel services booked with your pet sitter.  

Please contact us as soon as you know that you need to cancel a service.  We schedule our time carefully to provide the best care possible for your pet(s) and home while you are away.  Overnight bookings are particularly hard to rebook on short notice. In order to cancel a visit(s) please call or text us to let us know that you need to cancel.  We can be reached at 828-572-9214.  We understand that you may be used to contacting us on social media platforms to request a dog walker or pet sitter but request that you make cancellations by text or phone call.  Message service through social media is sometimes unreliable and we wish to avoid miscommunication when possible.  You can also send a cancellation request through your Time To Pet account.   

Cancellation for daily pet sitting visits or dog walks must be made no later than 8pm the night before the service is scheduled to be completed.  Services cancelled the day of service are subject to a 25% fee which will be invoiced to you and applied to future services. (Invoice must be paid in order to book future services.)  If you have cancelled daily dog walks/pet sitting visits with us 3 times with short notice, you will be required to prepay visits and they will be non-refundable.  

 It is very important to let us know if you are returning early and need to cancel services you have already booked with us.  Services cancelled on the day of service will be charged as booked and will NOT be applied to future services.  (If we have already arrived, we have spent time and gas to come to your home/location and denied other bookings with other clients.)  

Cancellation of overnight bookings and live-in service must be made 21 days in advance of the booking so we have adequate time to replace the booking on our schedule with another client.  Overnight bookings that are cancelled with less than 21 days' notice will be subject to a fee of 25-100%. Live-In Service is subject to a cancellation fee of 50-100% if not cancelled with 21 days' notice.

 Bark & Purr Pet Sitting, LLC reserves the right to change or modify this policy at our sole discretion.
